Good News

We have a purchase agreement on our house. We're not breathing a huge sigh of relief until after the closing (it's supposed to be in two weeks), but we're certainly feeling a little better. Is it typical to be totally annoyed with the person buying your house? After dealing with this man-- and taking offense to his initial low offer, I don't want him living in MY house.

Assuming that our house could sit empty all summer, I left curtains, a shelf, a few bath cabinets, flowers, etc. because I thought it would "show" better. Now this man is going to get everything. He asked about the things we left and Mike said he could have it all so that it wouldn't hurt the sale.

I did make one thing clear: he's not keeping my hanging baskets. This man will not enjoy my flowers!

The important thing, though, is that WE'RE HERE!

I'll post pictures later.

Traci & Mike,

That has to be a huge load off your minds. God is good! I like the picture of your Alma house.

How is Jonah doing with the move to Upland?

We've had buyers we weren't fond of...but you smile and pretend so you don't jinx the sale of the house. Part of the game.

Hang in there...you'll be settled soon.

Can't wait to go to Ivanhoes with you next time I pass thru the area.

Congrats on your offer! We were extremely frustrated with our buyers during our recent sale - I was kind of glad to read you were feeling the same way. I thought maybe it was just me! I hope you are getting all settled in!
lots of love,
Larsey

People in general are annoying. I am learning to accept this on a daily basis....But the annoying people make the people you like that much more special!!!!

This will one day be a distant memory! I hate selling houses that were a "home" it is always a pull on the heart regardless of how positive the situation/move.

Hi Honey,
I am so excited for you. I know it was hard leaving the house you lived in solong. That will pass in time.
I am looking forward to seeing your new home pictures, and I can hardly wait to see it in person.
Also looking forward to your visit in a couple of weeks.

Bring some pictures with you.
Love, Grandma.
