When I have the chance, I love to watch What Not to Wear on TLC. As I stood in front of my barren closet this morning, I wondered, what would Stacey and Clinton say about me?
"I see 6 pairs of black or grey yoga pants in this closet. This girl needs to learn that she can be comfortable and still wear tailored, stylish clothes."
"Look, Clinton, she's got a white t-shirt for every day of the month."
"While fleece is comfortable and warm, cashmere can meet her needs too."
"No, you don't have to wear your tennis shoes everyday. Try paying for a pair of comfortable shoes."
"This girl thinks jeans and a t-shirt are dress-up clothes."
I need help.

Clever.
That picture is hilarious.
Maybe we could set you up for a $5000 shopping spree!
Have you looked in my closet lately?!!
I'm still in hopes that some of those 80's outfits will come back in style! Do you remember the snazzy one piece pantsuit with the leopard print top? Oh yeah, I've still got it!!
Clearly you are suffering from momifationitis (pronounced mommy-fashion-I-tis) where you are able to easily dress your children to the 'nines' for even a small trip to the grocery store or down the driveway to the mailbox (see Exhibit A - Lydia as Little Miss Sunshine), but can't remember if you actually changed your own underwear. Fortunately, mommies that are as cute as you don't need to worry about how many yoga pants are in their closet. Cute post, love that show too.
I think jeans and a t-shirt are less a dress-up outfit and more like a UNIFORM. I wear that same combination every day.
Trac
I would trade your jeans and t-shirts any day over my multiple dress pants, sweaters, blouses, hosiery socks and every shade of pumps available. That show always makes me wonder what they would think of me too... But I am pretty positive that you have not been nominated.
