Man's Best Friend

We've been at my parents' house for over a week while Mike is taking his intensive summer classes. My parents' neighbors have two dogs, Morgan and Annie. Jonah loves these dogs. He talks to these dogs like they're humans (remember folks, I'm not much of an animal lover), and he played with them for over an hour in the backyard. That's an accomplishment.

Poor boy, he'll never have a dog of his own.

When I first saw the picture my immediate thought was that you gave up your dislike of animals for the benefit of Jonah...guess you're not that good of a mom! :) J/K...it could be a good outlet and great therapy. I'll laugh if your words ever come back to haunt you!

Poor baby,
I understand your not wanting a dog in the house--but maybe a little poodle wouldn't be bad.

I really enjoyed yesterday. It was so much fun seeing all of the little ones again.

I know you are feeling better today. Sometimes it just does us good to have a good ole cry.

I love you very much, Grandma.

My kids thought you had a cool dog and then we read a bit further. I was in shock when I thought you had gotten a dog. We just put our dog to sleep and it was like we lost a member of the family. So, we found a dog with a rescue group. She has been the best answer to "oldest child/feeling left out syndrome". Hope you enjoyed a great week with family.
