I know my brother-in-law, Alex, and my husband are two different people, but this post from Alex's brother-in-law just describes one of their similar characteristics perfectly.

Thanks for the link. This is something that I think Mike and Alex inherited from their parents. I love the story of when Tricia bought Alex a pellet gun last Christmas. She went into the store and said, "I want the most expensive pellet gun you have." She knew that this is what Larry and Linda would have done. I think it is their way of showing love. Why would a person skimp on showing love for one of the most important people in their lives? We could all learn something from this. It is something I have come to really value about Alex. It is something I want to get better at.
