I've decided I want a laundry maid. My life would be so much easier. I wouldn't need to take 20 trips down the basement stairs, I woudn't spend every "free" moment folding clothes, and Mike would always have neatly ironed shirts (I'm assuming my laundry maid would do the ironing too).

I'll make you jealous by telling you that my laundry room is upstairs...just feet from the kids bedrooms so the laundry can go straight from they dryer into their drawers! As much as I despise laundry I truly enjoy not going to the basement for every load!
Love having my laundry room upstairs, but it doesn't do my laundry FOR me or anything. I was just thinking today as I loaded the washer that the laundry is literally NEVER done. It was really starting to get to me. I'm glad you posted about this so I could rant here in the comments.
